A few weeks ago at a Financial Times seminar I got talking to a senior European marketer from Starbucks and we addressed the role that companies such as Starbucks, eBay, PayPal and Google have done to lower the barriers to entrepreneurial activity. The only limiting factor is the strength of your idea and the size of the potential environment. A quick trip to Starbucks midweek, especially in the US, and there is a significant commercial activation. Which is ironic when that is how the old tea and coffee shops in the City of London become established – as centres for commercial trade.
Anyway a few days later I saw the following commercial for Google – you may have already seen it but I liked it and it brings it all home. Never has it been more possible to do, exactly what you want.
