On my last flight to JFK in the middle of June I read the Wall Street Journal’s magazine, WSJ. cover to cover with one profile really standing out. That of Nicolas Hayek, Chairman, CEO, owner, founder of The Swatch Group. It was one of those profiles that makes you marvel at one individual’s contribution and I made a mental note to blog about it and link in to the article.

He died, on Monday, in his office working, aged 82.
