Yesterday, when I got home after a long day and an enjoyable and spontaneous drink after work I noticed that this blog had seen a spike in traffic. It continued today.
The usual assortment of new and past blogs were part responsible but the underlying driver was an article I had written months ago about one of my good friends CCC. A corporate powerhouse I had commented on the fact that her Birkin Bag had been pressed into service to signal a slight recovery in the global economy. A bit like the first cuckoo of spring.
And there you have it. The blog dashboard reveals people are coming to this article as they search the terms ‘Birkin Bag’.
It’s rather fun. They must be expecting an informed review or a secret Hermes source and instead they find just a passing mention.
I’m hoping, however, some linger awhile and become a regular visitor. It appears that might be happening.
