Topical advertising (beyond the gratuitous quick and dirty response to a singular event – for example a team winning) is invariably difficult so I was sceptical when Schweppes announced their new advertising campaign back in late March.
Since then they have continually broken excellent, topical and pithy executions which are enhanced only by the quaffing of a Beefeater Gin and tonic (Schweppes of course !).
