Less is more or maybe it’s just less

I’ve just finished a slim book (so a quick read) on the benefits of doing “less” at home and work in an effort to achieve more.

Not a new premise. Focusing on a small number of tasks resulting in greater fulfilment and completion.

I remain unconvinced. Certainly we need to ensure that multi-tasking does not overwhelm us and there are certain activities or projects which require total concentration but the very nature of multi-tasking results in productivity and rich stimulus.

I would pass on the title of the book but since that requires a degree of multi-tasking I will not betray the author’s ideals !
